5 Easy tips for an Amazing Family Portraits Session
1. Coordinate and prepare your wardrobes ahead of time
One of the best things you can do is Coordinate at least 3 days before and put them somewhere specific all together. This way when the day of comes you know exactly where they are and its quick and easy. From my experience I try to dress them in something you can put underneath the photo outfit, because kids always find a way to get something on the cloths lol (at least my kids do EVERY. SINGLE. TIME)

2. Think about what type of portrait session you would like
People come to sessions with different expectations and no two sessions are alike. I like to let the photographer know what is important for you and something maybe they can put some extra focus on. Sometimes it works great and sometimes its doesn't. But think do you want more posed and traditional or more lifestyle like the kids playing and being kids, or a little bit of both.
3. Don't forget every to eat (that goes for moms and dads too)
This is soooo important for everyone involved. If you or the little ones are hungry it shows, it just makes a smoother session if everyone is not hungry! It can get crazy before a session, and we got to make sure we are taking care of this point!
4. Reschedule of someone is sick
Please do, normally its the little ones get sick quite a bit and it sucks but it will make for better memories if the child is at their best.
5. Choose a good photographer who suits your style
This is a big one photographers have a style they stick to, and it may or may not be yours. Have a browse through their Gallery and make sure you like what you see.
